If you woke up this morning with more health than sickness, you are more blessed than the millions who won't survive the week. If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of the 20 million people around the world. If you attend a church, without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than almost 3 billion people in the world. If you have sufficient food, clothes, and a roof over your head, you are richer than 3/4 of the world's population.
If your parents are married and still alive, you are very rare among the children of today's world. If you can hold your head up with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed, because many can, but most do not. If y...
